今天听这张GENESIS的《abacab》，发现歌纸里有四个版本的封面，但是没有说明。四个版本图案一样，配色不同。到网上搜，没找到很明确的解说。
我手上这张是荷兰版，Virgin Records Ltd.出版，不是1981年首版，首版是Atlantic。
9首歌，封底写着：DEFINITIVE EDITION REMASTER。
其他两个版本如下图。
还有一个实在找不到，是这张图里最左边那个。
在寻找的过程中还发现了另外两个。混乱。
这张唱片1981年首版，1994年再版。我猜测从上往下从左往右第二张图应该是美版的封面。
最后，搜到这么个东西，《Abacab Complete》，是一个叫"alohacooldude"的人弄的，他有一张这个《Abacab Complete》的Inside Book的图，和一段解释。我的歌纸内页里四个版本的图和他这里展示的四张图是一样的。
Artist's Comments
I designed this based off of the original Genesis "Abacab" album cover art.
Genesis' "Abacab" was released in 1981, but only contained just over half of the songs originally recorded during the sessions for the album. Abacab Complete was a recording of all studio tracks...including outtakes, that was leaked out to the general public and over time became a popular bootleg recording....a copy of which I have myself.
I designed coverart for the full "Abacab Complete" because I and many fans believe that Abacab would have been alot better if all of the tracks recorded during the 1981 sessions had been included on the album, rather than the slimmed-down version we eventually got.
This is the inside booklet artwork for Abacab Complete, with song listings and of course my "stitch" logo of the time, my personal stamp on my works of digital art. Featured promently in the center of the booklet are the four "original" abacab LP color schemes of 1981...labeled D, B, C, and E. The cover on the bottom right hand side is Cover A, the artwork for this particular booklet and not part of the original 1981 series.
